2. Hosting
Strato
We host our website with Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit our website, Strato records various log files including your IP address. The use of Strato is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to rectification or erasure of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you may revoke it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
5. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from „http://“ to „https://“.
6. Server Log Files
The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Contact
If you contact us by email or contact form, your enquiry including all resulting personal data will be stored for the purpose of processing your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. This data is not passed on to third parties.
8. Testimonials
On this website we offer a form through which clients can voluntarily submit a statement for publication. The following data is processed:
- Name, position, and company
- Statement text
- Optional: portrait photo (JPEG/PNG, max. 5 MB)
- Consent status (name, photo, publication)
Legal basis: express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is obtained via separate checkboxes for the publication of the statement, the use of the full name, and the display of the photo.
Processing: The data is transmitted by email to the website operator (via Google Workspace SMTP). Uploaded photos are stored on the server at Strato. A final approval request is made before publication on the website.
Retention period: until consent is withdrawn. After withdrawal, the testimonial and photo are removed from the website and the server without delay.
Withdrawal: Consent can be withdrawn at any time without giving reasons by email to consulting@simonblaschke.de.
Spam Protection
The testimonial form uses CSRF tokens, honeypot fields, and rate limiting (max. 3 requests per hour). No additional personal data is processed in this context.
9. Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) for email communication and appointment scheduling. Name, email address, and communication content are processed on Google servers. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.
10. LinkedIn
A link to our LinkedIn profile is embedded on this website. Data is only transmitted to LinkedIn when you click the link. Further information: LinkedIn Privacy Policy
11. Web Analytics (Matomo)
We use Matomo, an open-source web analytics software hosted on our own server at Strato (self-hosting). No data is transmitted to third parties.
Cookieless Tracking
Matomo is configured so that no cookies are set. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
Anonymisation
IP addresses are truncated by 2 bytes (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx) and processed only in anonymised form. Referrer URLs are stored without query parameters in order to remove personal information from URLs.
Data Processed
The following is recorded: pages visited, time of access, referring page (without query parameters), browser and operating system used, and the anonymised IP address.
Retention Period
Raw data (visitor logs) is automatically deleted after 180 days. Aggregated reports are deleted after 12 months.
Legal Basis
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation of user behaviour to improve our services). Due to cookieless tracking and comprehensive anonymisation, our legitimate interest outweighs the interference with your privacy.
Objection (Opt-out)
You can object to collection by Matomo at any time by activating the „Do Not Track“ setting in your browser. Matomo automatically respects this setting.
